Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AgenticIndex ("AgenticIndex", "we", "us"), a United States company, collects, uses and shares information when you use getagenticindex.com (the "Site") and our paid services.
Information we collect
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we collect your email address. Our email provider, Resend, stores it on our behalf.
- Buyer requests (RFPs). If you submit a request to be matched with agencies, we collect your name, work email, company URL, what you need, your budget range and your browser user agent. We store this in Upstash (our database provider) and email it to our team at hello@getagenticindex.com through Resend.
- Agency listings. If you submit or claim a listing, we collect the business and contact details you provide.
- Payments. Payments for subscriptions, Fast-Track reviews and sponsorships are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment card and billing details. We do not see or store full card numbers. We receive limited information from Stripe, such as your name, email, billing country, the plan you bought and your payment status.
- Analytics. We use our own privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics. When a page loads, we count the page path and the hostname of the referring website in daily totals. We do not use cookies for analytics, and we do not store IP addresses, device identifiers or any other information that identifies you. Automated traffic (bots) is excluded.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may process IP addresses and request logs for a short time for security and to run the Site.
- Local preferences. We store your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to us.
How we use information
- To run the directory, review listings and deliver paid features.
- To route buyer requests to suitable agencies. When you submit an RFP, you agree that we may share your request details with agencies we think may be a good fit.
- To send the newsletter (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email) and service or transactional messages.
- To process payments, prevent fraud and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To understand which pages are useful, using aggregate analytics.
Affiliate links
Some links to third-party tools (for example, links under /go/) are affiliate or referral links. If you sign up or buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When you click one, the third party may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Affiliate relationships do not affect our editorial scores.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run the Site: Vercel (hosting), Upstash (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and the agencies you ask us to match you with. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention
We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe. We keep RFPs and listing submissions for as long as we need them to provide the service, normally no longer than 24 months. We keep payment records as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states, or the EEA/UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To make a request, email support@getagenticindex.com. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. We may need to verify your identity first.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date.
